 New CWNA Online Labs Minimize

vLogic announces the immediate availability of several new, hands-on, remote access labs to complement the CWNA Online class.  These new labs fully round out the knowledge needed by a wireless LAN adminstrator to be prepared to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot an 802.11 WLAN.  In addition to the existing throughput, security and site survey labs, which are required by the CWNP Program, vLogic has created labs which teach link budget calculations, and protocol analysis.  In addition major improvemnents to the site survey labs have been added which now allow the student to use AirMagnet Survey and AirMagnet Planner in addition to the existing manual site survey exercises.  A new introductory lab has been created which explains in detail how to connect to the vLogic student support website and how to confiigure and use the remote access lab applications.  In addition, all of the labs have been updated and re-written using a new, easier to follow format.

"Labs Only" - A New Tool for Self-Study Minimize

In our effort to support all types of CWNA candidates, vLogic announces the availability of a new online training service for self-studiers known as "Labs Only".  The Labs Only program allows a CWNA student to self-study the presentation material of the CWNA class using their own resources but still gain access to the hardware equipment resources of the vLogic Wireless Network Operations Center (WiNOC) for remote access to the same labs used by the fully enrolled CWNA Online students.  This feature is offered to any and all interested parties for a pro-rated fee which is proportional to the labs only portion of the CWNA ONline class.  The cost for this activity includes full documentation of the accalimed vLogic CWNA Online vLabs, 30 hours of scheduled remote access to the WiNOC and assistance (as-needed) from the course instructor.

 New CWNA Online Format Minimize
vLogic Announces New (optional) Seven-day Format for CWNA Online - Begins June 18, 2007
vLogic CWNA Online students already maintain one of the highest CWNA certification percentages of any authorized training center. This is especially significant considering that nearly half of our students are attempting to qualify for CWNT recognition. Beginning with the CWNA Online class of June 18, 2007, the vLogic CWNA Online class will implement additional improvements to our presentation format. These changes are intended to increase even further the passing rate of first-time CWNA certification exam applicants and to provide additional added value for our alumni.

The new CWNA Online format will now allow a student to interact with the online training session as either a highly-targeted, results-oriented, “boot camp” style of exam preparation or as a normal no-pressure, no-hurry, training course. The choice is up to the student. The new format provides a full seven-day curriculum for those highly-motivated certification-oriented students. The first five days of class, Monday through Friday, are comprised of our standard, but updated, CWNA Online presentation which has been so well received. Following the normal business week’s presentation, additional meetings during the weekend comprise the exam preparation addendum. On Saturday morning, the course instructor will recap and review the entire previous week’s presentation. The Saturday afternoon session will be an open forum study group focused on the results of the student’s experiences using the practice exams and concerning any questions which might arise from those examples. The Sunday session is intended as a self-directed exam preparation ritual. The student will exercise a set of exam preparation steps that maps out all the critical study documentation following an orderly check list for each area of required study. The course instructor is available for questions at this time on an as-needed basis. After the completion of the Sunday self-directed review, it is suggested that the student immediately appear at a convenient Vue or Prometric Test Center where they will be properly prepared to challenge and pass the CWNA exam.

We recognize that it may not be convenient or within the scope of a student’s plans to take the CWNA exam immediately following the CWNA Online training session or it may not be possible for that student to attend the weekend portion of the class during the same week that the regular presentation is given. For that reason, the student may attend any future, regularly-scheduled, weekend session, at their convenience, in part or in full, at no further cost. In fact, all CWNA Online students are entitled to revisit any portion of any CWNA Online training session, at any time, at no further cost. The only restrictions to this offer are that the class they wish to resit must be a regularly-scheduled session, have available, open seating, and be of the same major revision as the class to which the student originally enrolled.

vLogic is committed to improving the state of our wireless networking industry by improving the competency of it’s administrators and engineers. Come join us. Click here to view the vLogic CWNA Online Syllabus ...
